The Barn at Sadie Belle Farm

The Barn at Sadie Belle Farm is not simply an old barn someone decided would make a beautiful wedding venue.

It is part of a family's story.

The farm in Bishopville has been connected to the same family since 1932, and the barn itself once held cattle while generations of children played around the property. Years later, it was reimagined as a place where new families could begin their own stories.

Today, the rustic-elegant venue welcomes intimate weddings of up to approximately 100 guests at the gateway to Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley.

That size feels just right here.

Everyone is close enough to hear the vows.

The couple can actually look around the room and recognize every face.

And after the ceremony, there are fields and countryside waiting for those first photographs together.

Then everyone gathers inside the barn.

Old beams that once belonged to farm life now sit above dinner tables, flowers and people raising glasses.

As evening settles over the property, the barn becomes warmer.

Lights glow against the wood.

Music begins.

And somewhere in a building already filled with one family's memories, another family creates some of its first.
