Orchard View Wedding & Event Centre

Orchard View Wedding & Event Centre feels like a wedding set inside a garden painting, with still water, small bridges and flower beds that were planted with a ceremony in mind.

The centre sits on Deermeadow Drive in Greely, south of Ottawa, and its grounds are the reason couples come. Award winning gardens surround a quiet lake, scenic bridges cross the water, and the Stone Terrace, the Pergola and the Island each give the day a different corner of the grounds. Gazebos and lake views give the ceremony options both indoors and out, and every corner of the property is open for photographs.

Inside, the reception rooms scale to the guest list. The Terrace Room seats up to 110, the Lakeview Room up to 150, and the Grandview, with exclusive use of the whole venue, holds up to 400. A wedding of forty and a wedding of four hundred can both feel right sized here.

The kitchen runs the meal from start to finish: appetizers, a gourmet three course dinner and a late night snack, with menus that can be shaped to the couple. A dedicated wedding coordinator stays with the planning throughout, and the add ons run from florals and specialty decor to outdoor tents, wine selections, lighting and sound.

Imagine walking the bridge to the Island for the ceremony, then turning back toward a room full of windows and the lake going pink behind the tables. Orchard View gives an Ottawa wedding the garden it deserves, with a team already used to running the day.
