Set on a privately owned family farm in Gatineau, the property combines trees, animals, a spring-fed lake and a rustic open-sided pavilion, creating the feeling of a country gathering rather than a formal event hall.

The pavilion sits near the lake at the end of a small beach and provides approximately 1,450 square feet of covered space. Because the sides remain open, guests can still see and feel the landscape around them while having shelter overhead for dinner, conversation and celebration.

String lights bring warmth to the pavilion once evening arrives, while a built-in stage creates a natural place for speeches or live music.

There is also a fire pit nearby where around 30 people can gather.

That may become one of the loveliest places on the property once the formal parts of the wedding are over.

A few guests wander toward the fire and suddenly the evening begins to feel less like a scheduled reception and more like everyone has escaped to the farm together.

They can bring their own tables, chairs, food, caterers, food trucks, DJ and other wedding pieces, allowing the celebration to develop around their own ideas rather than a fixed package.

Guests can even camp overnight on the property by arrangement, while two small cabins may also be available.
