Minto Farm

There is a particular kind of romance that only a real farm can give a wedding. At Minto Farm, the day begins among 25 rural acres in the Comox Valley, with orchards, vegetable romantic gardens, open space and a pond creating a setting that feels gently removed from everyday life. Town is only a short drive away, yet by evening the farm settles beneath a darker country sky, making an intimate celebration feel as though everyone has escaped somewhere just for the two of you.

Couples can choose between two very different settings. the charming barn has a large loft filled with soft natural light and views across the property, with a covered south-facing area at ground level. It is best suited to the warmer months because the loft is not heated, and its two flights of stairs are worth keeping in mind when planning for guests. Down by the pond, a gently sloping field offers an open-air ceremony or gathering place with a fire pit and the landscape close around you.

Minto Farm keeps celebrations intentionally small, with a maximum event capacity of 85 people. That size suits the character of the property beautifully. This is not a place where a wedding disappears into a huge ballroom. It is a place for familiar faces, long tables, vows beside the water and the feeling that everyone present truly belongs in the story. Outdoor amplified music is not permitted in the area, so couples should plan the atmosphere of their evening with that restriction in mind.
