Green Island Getaways

Green Island Getaways gives a PEI wedding the rustic romance of a countryside retreat surrounded by rolling farmland, forest and meandering water. The property was created as a wedding and event destination, with its renovated barn, The Cowshed, bringing authentic country character together with on-site accommodation.

The barn can seat up to 180 guests and includes a kitchen, bar and stage, while the lower level provides additional lodging. The wider property adds trails, farmland and natural scenery that make the celebration feel wonderfully removed from everyday life.

There is something enchanting about an old barn dressed for a wedding. Timber becomes warmer beneath lights, flowers soften the country textures and the surrounding fields make every photograph feel unmistakably Island.
