Fallowfield Estate is at the beginning of its story.

And for couples getting married here now, there is something rather lovely about being among the first chapters.

Just outside Arkona, the new countryside wedding venue unfolds across approximately 25 acres of manicured grounds, forest and quiet Ontario landscape, giving celebrations room to spread beyond a single reception space.

The day can begin among the trees.

A forest grove offers one ceremony possibility, while the pondside lawn gives couples another way to bring the landscape into their vows.

Then the celebration moves toward the tent.

Fallowfield's 2026 venue has been designed around tented receptions, keeping guests sheltered while preserving the feeling of celebrating outdoors. Depending on the wedding, gatherings can range from approximately 50 guests to celebrations of around 250.

That flexibility carries into the planning too.

Couples can bring their own vendors, allowing the people behind the food, flowers, photographs and other details to be chosen because they fit the wedding rather than because they happen to appear on a compulsory list.

But it is the transition into evening that makes a tented countryside wedding so romantic.

The afternoon is still visible around you.

Cocktails happen on the lawn.

The countryside sits behind the ceremony arch and then, little by little, daylight begins disappearing through the tent.

Tables glow differently.

Music starts.

The landscape that framed the wedding all afternoon becomes darkness around a celebration filled with light.

Years from now, Fallowfield will have hosted countless weddings.

There will be favourite photograph locations, traditions and stories attached to every part of the property.

But some couples get to be there at the beginning.

They get to be among the first people who can point to a corner of this Ontario estate and say:

That is where we got married.
