East Kelowna Hall

There is something especially lovely about getting married somewhere that has been bringing people together for generations.

East Kelowna Hall has stood among the orchards of East Kelowna since 1940, hosting decades of weddings, dances, concerts and community celebrations. Today, it remains a wonderfully flexible choice for couples who want a wedding with Okanagan surroundings but would rather make the space their own than step into a highly styled ballroom. The hall accommodates gatherings of up to approximately 210 guests and specifically welcomes both wedding ceremonies and receptions.

Inside, the main hall has the warmth of a traditional community gathering place, with a stage and enough room to create distinct spaces for dinner, speeches and dancing. Tables, chairs and tableware are available through the venue, while the kitchen gives couples and their chosen food team a practical base for the celebration.

But part of the romance here begins before you even walk through the doors.

The hall is surrounded by East Kelowna's orchard country, giving the wedding that wonderful feeling of being tucked into the Okanagan landscape. It is easy to imagine slipping away after the ceremony for photographs among the rural scenery before returning to find everyone settling into the reception.

East Kelowna Hall also offers wedding use that can stretch across the weekend rather than limiting couples to only a few hours. That extra time can make decorating, rehearsals and the morning of the wedding feel much less rushed.
