Century Barn Weddings and Events

Surrounded by the countryside of Cavan, Century Barn Weddings is the kind of place where history, gardens and a little bit of country magic come together.

The heart of the property is an 1881 barn, hand-built by the same family whose descendants still care for the farm today. Inside, soaring wooden beams, elegant chandeliers and hundreds of twinkling lights create a warm, romantic setting for dinner and dancing.

Outside, couples can exchange vows in the ceremony garden, wander through the North Garden for photographs or take in the hillside views as the light begins to change over the countryside. There is also a private bridal suite for getting ready and a courtyard where guests can gather throughout the day.

When evening settles in, the celebration can continue around the bonfire lounge, giving the end of the night that relaxed country feeling that is difficult to recreate in a traditional ballroom.

Couples can simply rent the venue and bring their own vision to life, or choose from wedding packages that bring together trusted vendors and planning support. There are even intimate Sunday elopements and daytime brunch weddings with garden ceremonies and lawn games.

Historic, warm and wonderfully romantic, Century Barn feels less like hiring a wedding hall and more like being welcomed onto a beautiful family farm for the day.
